Releasing Western Pygmy Perch into the East side of Big Swamp in March 2007 |
Conclusion
Initial concern was with the high level of salinity on the west side (sea water can flow in during winter). The salinity on the east side has stayed below 0.90 ppk so fifty Western Perch were released in March 2007.
 |
The East side of Big Swamp . This area has less salinity than the west side and is buffered by many islands. |
